Friday night saw team AWD get our glad rags on and head to the iconic Glasgow City Chambers to attend the Causeway Annual Awards Dinner 2018.
Causeway: Ireland Scotland Business Exchange is a non-profit organisation which promotes and supports the strengthening of business relationships between Scotland and Ireland by connecting business people from across both countries to explore new opportunities.
We were finalists in the category of Scottish Export Business of the Year, recognising the growth in our international work over the past year, particularly in our temporary works and access engineering services. With our involvement in many iconic projects such as the Jumeirah Gate Residences in Dubai and the Westgate Bridge in Melbourne, we are now firmly established in many international markets including Ireland, Australia and the Middle East.
Although we didn’t walk away with the prize on the night, it was a wonderful opportunity to network with our Causeway colleagues, and to celebrate our success as well as the success of the Causeway community.
