We’ve been celebrating this week as our Founder Alan White has been awarded with the title of APEC Engineer! The award recognises Alan as a Professional Engineer in the Asia-Pacific Region in the areas of Civil and Structural Engineering.
The Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Engineer certification is an initiative designed to facilitate the movement of Professional Engineers across APEC Economies. Members of the APEC Engineer Committee who recognise APEC Engineer registration include Hong Kong, China, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand and the United States, with more countries progressively singing up to join the APEC community.
With his 45 years’ experience in temporary works and access engineering, Alan has been recognised by the APEC Committee for his standards of education, professional development and independent practice, as well as his significant leadership of engineering work, professional conduct and adherence to licensing and regulatory codes of practice.
With this award, his full title now reads:
Alan White B.Sc., M.Eng., M.I.C.E., M.I H.T., MIEAust, CPEng, NER, APEC Engineer, IntPE(Aus)
