This week we dropped in on the girl’s football team at Gargieston Primary School to deliver their brand-new strips, sponsored by AWD.
We already have strong links with the Kilmarnock school; we regularly run the ICE Bridges to Schools workshop at Gargieston in partnership with DYW Ayrshire which is always an enjoyable day for everyone involved and Managing Director, Malachy, has given several interactive presentations to support the delivery of STEM education, and hopefully inspire a few pupils to take up careers in engineering!
We are delighted to be able to sponsor the girls football team and continue to support the pupils and staff at Gargieston, as well as the wider local community. We hope the new strips bring lots of luck to the team and we look forward to hearing about their future success! Go Gargie Girls!
At the other end of the footballing spectrum, this month has also seen us become official sponsors of our local SPFL team Kilmarnock FC. Malachy recently took a trip to Rugby Park to take a look at our new stadium banners, on display for fans in the stadium and TV audiences. We're proud to support our local team as they look certain to secure 5th place in the Scottish Premiership this season!
In other community news, this spring also saw us joining one of our clients Careys plc for their Careys Foundation night, where we joined them to raise over £35,000 for several good causes which the charity supports. Thanks to everyone at Careys for a great night.
